The main reason I chose them was that they PICKED UP the phone and they are an AMERICAN bank that employs AMERICANS.

I read one review where the guy complained they rejected his application based on his website, which he hadn't even started. I side with SBB on this one, smart move avoiding a flaky biz owner.
Fabulous bank that meets all of my small business needs no matter where I am traveling! I love the fact that I can do everything online and if I need anything their customer service is TOP NOTCH! I highly suggest trying out SBB!!!!
Gardner Bank, Small Business Bank, is terrific for my small business needs. They pick up the phone, I often talk to the same people like it was my local bank. They feel more like the experiences I've had with Credit Unions, personable and focused on supporting my account, not "bigger customers" . I don't have a lot of elaborate needs, just a simple, reasonable no/low fee banks. LOVE SBB!!
Some business owners are allergic to the phone(soon to be out of business), this bank is not for them.
Crooks charged my 12 year old daughter $2 a month on her saving account because there was enough activity. Took all her money.
I've read the other reviews and I think other banks are paying people to trash them.
They are a great, free-low cost option for small biz.
I don't understand the bad reviews. I have used SBB for about 3 years, and they are excellent! No fees, great customer service, truly "no BS". Not glamorous, but effective... The application process/security was very thorough, I thought, but I appreciated that. I highly recommend dSBB!!!

Whenever I've had issues, yes I've had to take INITIATIVE and call them. Kind of a pain but not a deal breaker since they solve issues almost instantly over the phone.
