I like Grantham University because it's affordable and they make it easy for returning veterans to enroll using VA benefits. My experience was good.

I took medical coding there online program. My advisor never answered or returned calls. I had technical issues with their blackboard system. I got dropped because my advisor wouldnt do her job. Now ive been trying for 2 weeks to get them to release my transcript but i guess thats a difficult job for them to do too. I do NOT suggest this college!!

I just finished my first semester and I loved it! The website is easy to use and the course is set at a great pace. It's perfect for anyone working/has a family. My adviser has been amazing, she checks in with me to make sure everything is going okay and responds to calls/emails immediately.

I am Active Duty Army. I work over 63hrs per week. I attended GU in 2012 and transferred to a regionally accredited university and all of the credits from GU were accepted. I have recently transferred back to Grantham to finish my degree, as their schedule is more accommodating. GU accepted all of my credits. GU courses are 8 weeks in length, but you can accelerate through the program at your own pace. The course work is what you put into it. The Army has a green to gold program for active duty. Because Grantham is nationally accredited, my degree will help me earn a commission as an Army Officer.

Graduated in 2011, at 50 years old. They helped me open more doors as others were closing. The support to facilitate tuition assistance and VA benefits was phenomenal. Stick to the schedule, make it a priority and you will prevail.
