We love Dr. Dodson and her team – I can't imagine our lives without them. Three years ago, we visited 3 different vets before discovering Mariposa. It's the only place I've ever taken Ogilvy with 100% confidence that they only recommend what's best for my giant buddy. He loves the attention and snacks. I love that they treat him like their own. Win-win!
Another great thing is most (not all, if it's not your thing) are a mix of eastern and western medicine. So it isn't always "let's give them a drug, and another drug to fix what that one caused" etc. They want to get to the cause, the why, instead of fixing symptoms with a pill or a shot. Never experienced this with any other vet.
Everyone at Mariposa is devoted to the well being of the animals that come in, and it shows. This is without a doubt the best vet clinic I've ever encountered.

I cannot believe I haven't given Mariposa the props they deserve yet...I've been going there about a year and a half now.
From the vet that I see, the techs, and even the other vets (can't always get into mine) I have never in my 20 years of having pets had such a great experience with a vet. They truly care, and it shows when they are with your pet and in the follow up they do. Past vets I've seen it was really just lip service, a business transaction. Not Mariposa.
I truly adore the folks there and will not go anywhere else.
I've been taking two of my dogs to this clinic for several years. They are thorough and provide a variety of options for care. My dogs have had a dental here, been there for ear infections, and regular check ups and they do a wonderful job. The prices are slightly higher than other vet clinics for certain things but it's nearly negligible considering how thorough they are and how well they take care of your pets. It's worth it. It's always clean and the front desk staff are very friendly and will work with you on scheduling like no other clinic I've taken my dogs to. Truly a wonderful place!
