Perkins usually known for pies and muffins and a menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I ordered from the "build your own" section. I got 2 eggs over easy lightly cooked hash browns...I asked for that because I hate the ultra crisp sort...I got 2 pieces of perfectly cooked bacon and 3 pancakes.....looked very small like child's order. The pancakes were the only item that was hot! Good was good tasting...just not fond of tepid eggs and hash browns. They were busy so asking for warmer food may have been quite the wait.
A family with three young children waited over an hour then all their food came out wrong - they had more patience than most!!!
I would not recommend this location to anyone!
My experience there was disturbing. It is SO dark in there unless you're checking out so you can see the pies and muffins. The place is in dire need of remodeling....the carpet so worn there were actually holed in it and where I was sitting...right next to the kitchen entrance...the carpeting had an odd sheen from constant wear.
The wait for food was over 50 minutes!!! The poor waitresses not only have to take care of the customers but are also forced to bus the tables - not very sanitary!
We just had pie. My daughter had her favorite peanut butter silk. I had cherry pie ala mode. My son in law had pumpkin loved it so much he ordered peanut butter silk too. We loved it all! The service was good not stellar. So I gave it 4 stars. The pie was 5.
The managers are just standing around eating, drinking, or talking on the phone - maybe if they would pitch in and help it would have been a better experience. We watched one customer wait at the counter to pay for five minutes then she walked in the kitchen to find someone to come check her out!!! That is inexcusable!
On checking out....I paid with my debit card. The machine that takes the card was so overtly filthy that I did complain. The syrup dispensers were heavily stained with food smeared with others dirty fingers. If you don't mind any thing I said and don't mind the high prices then by all means enjoy!
Decent but not great food, high staff turnover.
Food is good , but the service is below average with customers waiting a long time with plenty of empty seats
